Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data onlinebettingsites.co.uk collects, why, and what rights you have under UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who is responsible
The controller of your data on this site is Samuel Clark, 84 Fore St, Redruth, Cornwall, TR15 2BL, United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
The site has no user accounts, no comment forms and no newsletter. We do not ask you for your name or contact details to read it, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
Like any website, the server that delivers the pages records technical information about each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. That information is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
If you write to us by e-mail, we receive your e-mail address and whatever you include in your message.
Your browser stores one small item on your device when you choose Accept or Decline on the cookie notice, so that the notice does not appear again. It records your choice and nothing else.
Why we use it and on what basis
Server records are processed under our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. E-mails are processed to answer you, under our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. The stored choice about the cookie notice is used because you made the choice, and you can clear it in your browser at any time.
Links to other sites
The site links to bookmakers and other organisations. When you follow a link, you leave this site, and the operator’s own privacy policy applies from that point. If you follow a Visit Here link, the operator may record that you arrived from this site, so that the commission described in our affiliate disclosure can be attributed. Read the operator’s policy before you register.
How long we keep data
Server records are kept for 90 days and then deleted. E-mails are kept until your enquiry is dealt with and for up to 12 months after that, and then deleted. The stored choice about the cookie notice stays in your browser until you clear it.
Who receives it
We do not sell personal data. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a content delivery and security service and processes request records, such as your IP address, on our behalf; its privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. The company that hosts the site’s servers also processes server records on our behalf. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Data security
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the site is encrypted. Access to the server and to the contact mailbox is limited to the people who run the site. Because the site has no accounts, no forms and no payments, it holds no passwords or card details. If we ever learn of a breach that puts your data at risk, we will tell the people affected and the Information Commissioner’s Office as the law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive your data in a portable format where that applies. To use any of these rights, write to the e-mail address above.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put things right first.
Children
The site is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The current version is always on this page.
