This independent comparison website helps consumers choose the best available gambling product matching their needs. We offer a high-quality advertising service by featuring only established brands of licensed operators in our reviews. Please note that although we endeavour to provide you with up-to-date information, we do not compare all operators on the market.

Reviews for November 2026 · ten licensed bookmakers

Betting site reviews: ten UK-licensed bookmakers

One review for each bookmaker on our card. Each says what the operator’s own pages state, what we could not confirm, and where we read it, with the Gambling Commission licence number to check. Compare them on the main card or two at a time, and see how we compare them.

What each betting site review covers

Every review follows the same outline, so you can read two side by side. It starts with the licence: the licensee’s name and the Gambling Commission account number, which you can look up yourself on the public register. It then describes the sportsbook features that change how a bet behaves: cash-out, Bet Builder rules, the app and, for racing bettors, Best Odds Guaranteed.

Where an operator publishes the detail, we report it with the source. Where it does not, the review says “not confirmed” and the card shows “Check terms”. We would rather leave a gap than guess, because a guessed term can cost you money.

The reviews are not tests of an account. We did not place bets or open accounts, and we do not give scores or star ratings. A review summarises what the operator’s own pages and the register said when we read them. Terms change, so each one carries the date it was checked.

How to use these bookmaker reviews

Start with the card above. Filter it by the feature you care about, then open the reviews of the two or three bookmakers that remain. Read the sections on cash-out and Best Odds Guaranteed in full, because that is where the exclusions sit.

If you bet on racing, the horse racing betting sites guide puts the same ten side by side with the racing terms, and the Best Odds Guaranteed explainer shows the arithmetic. For football, see the football betting sites guide. For the full comparison, go to the main page, and for how the cards are built, read how we compare betting sites.

If you are choosing by phone, the betting apps page sets out what each of the ten says about its iPhone and Android app. Looking for a newer bookmaker? Our new betting sites page shows the licence dates of the ten and a way to check any newcomer on the register.

Betting responsibly with any bookmaker

A review cannot tell you whether betting is right for you. Set a deposit limit before your first deposit, keep to a budget you can afford to lose, and take a break if it stops being fun. GambleAware gives free and confidential support, and GamStop blocks every licensed UK site at once. Betting is for people aged 18 and over.

Questions about betting site reviews

Which bookmakers do you review?

Ladbrokes, William Hill, Betfred, Coral, BetVictor, BoyleSports, Midnite, LeoVegas, NetBet and Fitzdares. All ten hold a UK Gambling Commission licence.

Do you rate or rank the bookmakers?

No. There are no scores or stars. The card orders the ten by the features we could confirm, and the order is not a rating.

How do you check a bookmaker is licensed?

We read each operator’s entry on the Gambling Commission public register and link it from the review. You can open the same entry and check the licensee and status yourself.

Why does a review say “not confirmed”?

It means the operator’s own pages did not state the point clearly, or the pages we found disagreed. Check the terms in an account before relying on it.

Do you earn from the Visit links?

Some links are affiliate links, and we may be paid if you register through one. This does not change the terms you get, and the disclosure is at the top of each page.
