NetBet review: cash-out rules, Bet Builder and a regulatory settlement
NetBet has a clear cash-out page and a public record with the regulator. This review covers both, using the operator’s pages and the Gambling Commission register, and states where its own pages disagree.

Licence and the regulator’s record
For Great Britain, NetBet is licensed through Netbet Enterprises Limited, account number 39170 on the Gambling Commission register, with a head office in Malta. The licence covers casino, betting, pool betting and linked software. NetBet’s terms name the operator as Cosmo Gaming Company Limited, registered in Malta. The register lists one trading name, netbet, and the licence is active.
The register also shows one regulatory action. On 5 November 2025 the Commission announced a settlement with Netbet Enterprises Limited after a compliance assessment of its remote licence. It found failings in anti-money laundering controls and in social responsibility controls, across casino and betting. The licensee agreed to a payment of £650,000 in lieu of a financial penalty, which the Commission says will go to socially responsible purposes, plus the Commission’s costs and a public statement.
The public statement lists the specifics. The anti-money laundering risk assessment omitted some key risks and controls relied too heavily on financial triggers. Inaccurate information was submitted in regulatory returns. Systems for interacting with customers were not effective, with signs of harm identified late. The website lacked a warning that underage gambling is an offence, which NetBet fixed at once. A £1 million jackpot promotion did not appear to show its significant terms. The social responsibility failings covered various periods between September 2022 and July 2024.
A settlement is not a revocation. The licence remains active and the operator remains on this card. A reader is entitled to know the record exists, and to decide what weight to give it.
Markets and in-play
NetBet covers horse racing, football, UFC and smaller sports such as cricket and Aussie Rules, as well as esports and novelty bets. In-play betting is offered on football and tennis, with markets such as the next goal. Racing odds cover every meeting, including the major festivals.
Bet Builder
The Bet Builder combines several markets in one match, such as total goals, scorers and both teams to score. It calculates the combined odds before you confirm the stake. You find it by choosing a football match and selecting the Bet Builder option. The sports rules page links to a separate Bet Builder rules document, which we did not read, so we do not describe its settlement.
Cash-out
NetBet’s Cash Out page is one of the clearest. It is offered on single and combination bets before and during events. It is not available on forecasts, tricasts, outright winners, or to-be-promoted and relegated bets. It disappears if each-way terms or handicap points change, and it closes when the event starts. NetBet can disable it at any time, does not guarantee it will be available and accepts no liability for opportunities missed. Bets placed with free-bet tokens are excluded, while bets placed with bonus money can be cashed out.
The welcome offer: pages that disagree
We found conflicting figures for the new-customer offer. A football page and an older blog say a qualifying bet of £10 at odds of at least 2.00 earns £20 in free bets, split into four £5 bets. A September 2026 blog post says £40. Free bets expire after seven days. The free bet FAQ says free bets are withdrawable as cash, while the World Cup promotion says they are not.
The conflict is itself a reason to read the terms in an account before opening one. We do not print an offer figure.
Safer gambling, the app and payments
Our searches returned a link to a Safer Gambling help article without its content. NetBet Enterprises Limited lists a NetBet Sports Betting app on the UK App Store, with racing among its categories. For Android, one NetBet page says the app is distributed as a file outside Google Play, while a Google Play listing also appears, so check which route NetBet points you to. We found no list of payment methods, no withdrawal times and no support channels. Given the regulator’s findings on customer interaction, check the safer gambling tools in the account area, and use GamStop if you want to exclude yourself from all licensed sites.
How NetBet compares with the other bookmakers on the card
NetBet is one of four on our card with no general, confirmed Best Odds Guaranteed promotion, with Midnite, Fitzdares and LeoVegas. Its own rules page does name Best Odds Guaranteed: it says the guarantee does not apply to betting-without, place-only, cover-bet and match-bet racing markets, which suggests it runs on the standard win and each way markets, but the page does not give a start time, a cap or who qualifies. We read NetBet’s regulatory record in detail because its settlement is the most recent one that spells out its findings in a public statement. The register also lists actions against William Hill and Betfred, and none against the other seven on the card. The card’s Register record column shows the count and links to each entry. It is not a ranking of the bookmakers.

A worked example of the each-way rule
Suppose you back a horse each way and the bookmaker changes the each-way terms before the race, from four places at a quarter to three places at a fifth. NetBet’s cash-out page says the option disappears when each-way terms change. A cash-out figure you saw on the slip a minute earlier would no longer be offered, and you could only wait for the result. The rule exists to stop bets being settled at a price built on old terms.
To see what a price move or a withdrawn horse does to a winning bet at NetBet, step through our explainers: how Best Odds Guaranteed pays on a racing bet and how a Rule 4 deduction cuts a winning bet.
Three things to look up before your first bet
Read the current terms of the welcome offer in the account, since two pages disagree. Look at the safer gambling tools and set a deposit limit. And check that the Bet Builder rules document covers the markets you plan to combine.
Who NetBet suits, and where it falls short
NetBet suits a bettor who reads rules and wants a cash-out page that states what is and is not eligible. It covers racing, football and UFC and a few smaller sports.
Its limits are no confirmed racing guarantee, an Android route that is unclear, offer pages that disagree, and the 2025 settlement on its record.
Pages this review is based on
This NetBet review draws on 5 pages from NetBet’s own domains and on its Gambling Commission register entry (account 39170), read in October 2026. We did not open an account or place a bet. The terms that apply to a bet are the ones NetBet shows when you place it. Pages read: Cash Out, Bet Builder promotion, All sports rules, Gambling Commission public statement, 5 November 2025, Gambling Commission register: Netbet Enterprises Limited. If a section of this NetBet review says we could not confirm something, we found no clear current statement, and the table shows “Check terms” where that applies.
